Summertime Lethargy

Hello there!

I've been feeling a bit frazzled with all the recent hot weather here.

The stuffy heat is not good for a small badger of very little brain. It drains my energy, and saps what brain power I have.

Which has made it difficult to do anything creative this week.

Take the following transcript as evidence:

Slowing The Pace

Hello there!

I spent a little time this week to head out to Thetford Forest for a walk.

Specifically to enjoy a slow, mindful walk.

Because a gentle stroll in the woods is the easiest thing in the world to do, right?

Well not quite...

The Geese and The Rainbow

Hello there!

It feels lovely to be sharing some random musings again.

What do you find at the end of a rainbow? Gold? Nope.  Try again...

Another quick post

Hello there!

Another quick post...

June has become a write-off in terms of creative activity. This is due to other commitments.

Normality (of the blogging and creative kind) should return in July.

2nd Tumbleweed Week

Hello there!

Apologies, it's been another busy week, so no new material.  Again.

This is not due to lack of brain activity, just a lack of bandwidth.

Cheerio for now!

Tumbleweed Week

Hello there!

It's been a tumbleweed week here, and that's not a reference to the very warm dry weather.

Other stuff has taken precedence, so I've had a week of not making any progress on anything.

Which means that there's no new artwork, poetry or pictures to share with you.

Not even a tumbleweed picture.

Normal service will hopefully resume next week.

Cheerio for now!

Creating My Own Joy of (Digital) Painting

Hello there!

I've recently been enjoying a pause to rest me paws.  And although hill walking in the Lake District isn't exactly resting paws, it is restful.  So technically it counts.

I did take several photographs whilst in Cumbria.  A few of these were posted on social media as part of my 100 Miles in May for Mind.  These and other photos will be uploaded to Flickr over the coming week.

In addition, I've decided to use my own photos as a starting point to create my own digital art.

Or in other words - Creating my own joy of (digital) painting.
